This project aims at providing meaningful, thought-provoking, contextual and interactive experiences for children and adults who visit the Harish Mahindra Children's Park located in Breach Candy, Mumbai. A park not only functions as a play space, but it is also a place where a child understands, experiences, and learns new things. In the past, several architects, designers, school authorities, doctors, therapists, parents, and children themselves have built playgrounds. As time keeps changing, the spaces around also need to evolve according to the changing need of users, akin to the living room in homes. The elements in the living rooms keep changing based on the requirements of the residents and the same elements are used for a variety of purposes at different times. This park is similar to living rooms; the only difference being that it is the living room of the entire city. Like every other living room, this place can be used for a variety of purposes depending on the time and people who visit the place.
