The film is based on an original short story about life during the COVID-19 pandemic. This film reflects the student’s observations about how the perspectives of each generation differ, intertwined in our daily lives. The relationship between the characters - Dr. Lekshmi, her mom, and her daughter belonging to three different generations form the cornerstone for this film. The story revolves around the life of a single mother, Dr. Lekshmi, who has a hard time managing her professional and personal life. The struggle that Dr. Lekshmi goes through is evident right from the beginning of the film. The film begins with her returning home after pulling round the clock during the COVID-19 pandemic. The conversations with her mother over the phone convey the constant pressure she receives from her family to remarry. After a long day, as Lekshmi enters her apartment, she notices a lovely dinner set on the table. But the happy moment changes instantly as her angry teenage daughter, Anu, confronts her. The journey of the characters will be relatable to many. This film also resonates with the student’s personal experiences.
