"Wrapped Up" is a stop motion graduation film that explores the struggles of toxic relationships and the courage it takes to break free. Merlin the mummy boy is tired of being hurt by Penelope the Alien plant and escapes. There is another character, Vanessa the voodoo doll that escapes Andrew the spider's clutches and their escape from toxic relationships closely resembling each other. Through intricate stop-motion animation, the film showcases the power of self-love, knowing when to leave a bad situation and the importance of surrounding oneself with positivity.
This project also shows the process of stop motion animation and the various departments that are involved in the production of a short film. It contains an interview with a professional stop motion animator who has 13+ years experience in the stop motion industry as well.
