The brief of the project was to create a capsule collection for Lenzing India, Coimbatore, the project learning was about industry constraints, the market, brand strategies, market operation, design thinking, manufacturing process, and the user. The final steps involved applying understanding within the industry to develop the product range to the Company’s satisfaction level. Two collections Spring/Summer 2021 is developed using their famous product LENZING™TENCLE™ and LENZING™ECOVERO™. Lenzing is known for its closed-loop production process, and these collections will do justice to its brand image. Both collections are developed, keeping sustainability on top priority. The project started with preparing a timeline to channelise and work accordingly. A detailed study is done on the company profile and their products. The most important were the fiber studies and comparison with other fibers. Market research is also done based on products available in the market, divided into four segments: value retail, mid-segment, premium, and luxurious. Detailed research was carried out from WGSN, promo style S/S 20 and 21, some runways and fashion forecasts for creative inspiration to understand colour trends and details. The first collection is develop using Lenzing™Tencel™,this collection is developed based on consumer's shopping habits. Nowadays, people wear different outfits for different occasions, and due to their active social lifestyle they don’t want to repeat the same garment, so they keep on buying new clothes. This collection is made so that a single garment will give 2-4 different looks. The second collection is developed using LENZING™ECOVERO™, this collection is all from nature. The fibers come from the forest; this collection is also processed further naturally, explored, and used to develop different patterns through natural dyeing. Even
