The project is done in collaboration with Belong technologies, a start-up based in Bengaluru. Belong were successful in the HR department. Their product, Belong Hire, was a success in the market and the company opted to roll out six new products and more planned for the future. The latest products required a new visual language to help with the marketing efforts mainly.
The student learnt a lot about the hiring process followed by many companies, wherein many companies outsource their hiring processes to third party businesses. The student created marketing collaterals, presentations, brochures etc.. regularly and over time developed an in-depth understanding of the business and the content that would be circulated.
The project allowed the student to apply not only the graphic skills but also helped in improving the communication and team-building skills.
The project output included cover illustrations for each product and a visual language guideline document to ensure accurate implementation and paves the way for creating a visual language for their future products. Overall the project was a learning experience in creating illustration systems, website designing, branding and identity.
