Creating information graphics in Adobe Illustrator is complex and time consuming. The existing features in Adobe Illustrator's charts and graphics do not adequately support the creation of information graphics. There is a user base that actively wants to create impressive and creative information graphics without spending much time on the labour-intensive process by creating them manually. The primary objective of this project was to create workflows that could either be a feature in-built in Adobe Illustrator, a plug-in, or an independent concept that could be integrated with other applications. The principles of visual encoding have been used to map data to the visuals. The conceptualised ideas are visualised, prototyped, and tested to finally narrow down on one solution which could be plugged into Illustrator and also follows the mental model of the application.
