Gamification in Marketing and Branding
This project explores different digital marketing design solutions developed to achieve the business goal of recruiting employees for the agency - Panorbit, especially web developers for the first quarter of the year 2020. One such approach was using gamification in marketing on social media to build brand relationships and trust within potential candidates and reach a larger audience. This particular design solution was for the sponsor company and its business goals of the year. Recruiters need to identify, attract, and engage both active and passive talent, which can be made easy, effective, and fun with gamification. A cleverly designed recruitment marketing works to inspire potential candidates to engage with the company’s social profile and careers portal. Marketing and branding are the hooks for the talent to see and experience the company the first time, followed by the onboard process. Enhancing the initial level of the recruitment funnel encouraged candidates to apply for the positions at the company. The user study started with an online survey circulated among the target audience (age group and profession) for a week. A set was pulled out from the survey for further one on one interviews. By using progressive research methods and following ethical research methods, prominent insight was gathered and analyzed.
