The project attempts to tell the story of a tribal woman who chooses a different path from those around her in the hope to save her child and the future generations from a nutrition-less food crisis. It explores the personal motivations of a woman to choose the traditional way of making seeds and indigenous agricultural practices. It tries to show the journey of a woman and her decisions through her childhood memories and past life experiences. The project underlines the role of local communities in tackling environmental crises and highlights the importance and relevance of their traditional knowledge of nature. By telling this story, the project focuses on creating awareness about the food crisis we are facing today and inspires many others to take direct action towards it. Action from a single individual can bring positive change in the well-being of the community and ecosystem around us and by exploring the narrative of a mother who nurtures the seeds as her own child; the project will underline the social and environmental relevance of her work.
