Adobe Experience Cloud is an all-in-one enterprise solution for digital marketing. It consists of a suite of more than eleven products and services. Each product and service is optimized for a specific aspect of digital marketing, and like a cloud, it brings together all the client company’s marketing tech in a single place. Each product is powerful, complex and used by specialists. Hence, it takes users time and training to be comfortable with the products. They also tend to look for help outside the product as the in-product help is basic. The objective was to provide the users with a better help experience, pro-actively as well as on-demand. The brief given by Adobe was to define a strategy and UX framework to provide in-product help and guidance to Adobe Experience Cloud users. The project aimed at helping users understand and pick up the software faster. It continuously provides support based on user actions. A help framework was created by combing game design and UI/UX principles to form a holistic solution. This is a user-centric and user-driven design that allows a high level of customization.
