SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) was designed to provide all analytics capabilities to various user groups in a single product that helps connect people, information, and ideas to enable fast and confident decision making. A feature like collaboration had to be developed as a well-rounded component rooting to support and optimise group decision-making processes than its current state, which would enable businesses to maximise and optimise the use of SAP Analytics Cloud rather than venturing out to any third-party tool as an aid. The objective was to design a feature that allows users to collaborate and communicate within the software. The collaboration feature helps in quick and easy interactions among users to make informed decisions. The final deliverables were concepts, design detailing, and high fidelity working prototype. Applying all the user experience, interaction design and research principles to the product worked on at SAP provided substantial experience. User testing was done within the team by comparing it with the previous version of the collaboration in SAC, and the new designs increased the conversion rate by 60%.
