Rapid urbanization and the adoption of mechanized transportation modes have resulted in high emissions of greenhouse gases which impact global warming. The promotion of electric vehicles is one of the viable options for tackling such problems. The main roadblocks for the adoption of electric vehicles are the high upfront cost of the vehicle, long charging time, equivalent infrastructure, range anxiety, parking space, standardization of electric plug, and battery size. Compared with conventional charging methods, battery swapping can optimize the stated problem. Battery swapping is exchanging the discharged battery for a charged one. The project brief was to increase the accessibility of charging stations for two-wheelers and three-wheelers. And to address the problems, product, services and systems were designed by the student.
