Past two years have dramatically affected the social structure and the way we work. The Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted the whole world and have changed the way we look at things.
One of the fundamental aspects of life that has been disrupted is the way we work. Work from home as a concept has been existing since a very long time but hasn’t been mainstream, which has now become the most common way of working, especially for the knowledge workers.
The project focuses on residential workspace solutions. It explores simple to complex ideas and human interactions.
Three main design briefs have been explored in the project focusing on ergonomics and spatial design.
The project explores in methods of digital fabrication and simple manufacturing processes, in order to reduce the amount of physical work to be done on the furniture.
In conclusion the project aims at providing simple solutions for people working part time, full time or as a couple from their residential spaces.
