The underlying focus of this research was to understand the system behind generated plastic waste in the environment and how it affects the surroundings. Concepts for the new communication design ideas were designed based on the research ﬁndings. The ﬁnal concept was carried forward, and the design was developed with multiple iterations and explorations with interactive installations, product attachments, sustainable icons, and campaigns. This project gave the student a perspective in understanding the importance of the design process and industry functioning. It gave insight into how each consumer is responsible for the brands waste cycle and how a well-established brand operates to create a difference in everyday lives. This project allowed the student to apply knowledge and understand the retail aspects of the company. It turned out to be an excellent opportunity to stimulate intelligent design while exploring the possibilities with excitement, learning, and a feeling of accomplishment.
