This film is an attempt to understand children who belong to dysfunctional families. It aims at educating the audience about the lives of such children and it does so by telling the story from the perspective of a child. Subsequent to discussions and interviews with mental health professionals, school teachers, workers from NGOs, and children themselves, an attempt is made to show how traumatic some of these experiences are for such children and how each one handles it in his or her own way. The treatment is kept simple and unpolished to compliment the tone of the film as it had to look like something out of child's notebook itself.
