The project aims to design a framework that can support the creation of responsive levels in match-three games. It explores a system that can respond and evolve based on player behaviour. The system designed in the project shall act as a support to facilitate the tuning of any level in a match-three game to the required difficulty. The required difficulty for a level could be based on factors like play style, progress in the game, game economy, player economy, in-game events, etc. The project scope does not cover the conversion of the above factors into a level requirement but covers changing the difficulty of any level using certain level tuning parameters. This would remove the need to design multiple levels of varying difficulty and give freedom for the level designers to explore variations in level via game elements.
