Advanced Aerial Support Vehicle for Law Enforcement
Ever since heavier-than-air flight emerged on the scene, science-fiction writers and futurists have always imagined a form of transportation in a future where one would be flying freely, exploring the third dimension. The dream of personal aviation is not a new one. Yet, as urban sprawl increases and road traffic congestion worsens, distinct technological advances are putting the long-held dream of escaping from all this madness and taking to the air within one’s reach: electric propulsion, autonomous technology and advanced 5G communication networks. This got the designer interested in the field of advanced aerial mobility. The designer mainly evinced interest in the possible approaches in solving the complex problem of 3D mobility. With automobiles starting to look more similar and boring, the designer was naturally inclined to this realm which enabled him to creatively solve the challenges in designing advanced aerial mobility solutions. Through this project, the designer studied the existing approaches and market barriers and eventually proposed a concept which best suited the opportunity that was identified.
