This project explores how AI can transform hiring into a faster, more efficient, and human-centered experience. Focusing on the end-to-end recruiter workflow, from requisition creation to interview feedback and offer rollout, it introduces an AI-powered assistant called AIR, embedded within existing tools such as MS Teams and Slack. Designed to reduce friction, AIR streamlines tasks like scheduling, screening, and feedback collection, enabling quicker and more informed decisions. Research included interviews with recruiters and candidates, revealing pain points such as recruiter overload, delayed feedback, and lack of candidate clarity. The solution was developed in two phases: Phase 1 integrated AIR into chat platforms, while Phase 2 introduced modular Mini AIRs, including smart screeners, feedback analyzers, and offer engines. The design process involved journey mapping, system design, and iterative UI development. By embedding intelligence directly into workflows, the project reimagines hiring as a collaborative, conversational, and scalable AI-driven system.
