The theme for GoH-India Pavilion at FIL Guadalajara will highlight various avenues of Indian Literature and Publishing, and include facets from Indian culture in relation to reading: our rich linguistic heritage and scripts, architecture, art forms and design. With environment and climate change being one of the critical issues to be discussed at the International level and the importance of literature in bringing about change in young readers, a digital exhibition was designed with archives of children’s book illustrations from National Book Trust, India focussing on environment and climate change. To commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Gandhi, a thematic installation was conceptualised and executed at the Pavilion.
