This project is an attempt to trigger thoughts, facilitate discussions among people and initiate actions to conserve and protect marine life from pollution. Through a participatory and bottom-up approach, the project aims to create awareness about the existence of life below water, inspiring people to start talking about it, and understanding human affect. Designed as a participatory action research project, community members and local populations play a vital role. The project is intersectional in its class and caste reach and helps in dissemination of and bridging scientific and indigenous knowledge around marine pollution, culminating in community cleaning of marine debris.
