This project is a wildlife research project which examines the interconnected spatiality of the Waghoba deity and Wagh (leopard) in Dahanu, Maharashtra. It further analyses and highlights the multiple relationships people, share with the big cats and the social cultural institutions and its vehicle of oral traditions, which enables people to share spaces with big cats. Recognizing this, the project strives to reaffirm the faith in the deity, which also helps in spreading awareness of the different habitats of the leopard.
