This project’s objective is to understand the interrelationship of the pashmina production through handloom weaving and sources of livelihood for the weavers in Kashmir. It focuses on increasing the potential of the Kashmiri handloom weavers through the field of design and innovation, focusing on quality, fineness of the yarn, good finishing and changing of the weaving structure with different density of yarn.
