This film presents an orthodox, middle aged, mother of two, living in a small village in the northern Himalayas coming to terms with the dreams of her rebellious daughter when a young solo female traveler comes to stay with them. It comments on the changing relationship between mother and daughter, and impact of travel on local populations and traditional family and gendered construct.
