This project aims to develop a diagnostic study of a craft cluster with parameters such socio cultural, design chronological study, tools, materials and techniques, USP of the cluster, the strength and weakness of weavers in terms of skills, ability to grasp new ideas, enthusiasm, reluctance to change from published / unpublished material sources with the idea to access suitable candidates for the C2M training program. It also looks at developing design directions which can be developed using natural fibers, hand spun natural dyed yarns which can be showcased.
