The project comprises of a comprehensive craft documentation of the regional weaving traditions, their motifs, designs, style and colors along with the historical study of how the traditions came to be what they are. It also presents three co-created collections produced with the weavers. The collections are aimed at discerning the versatility of the traditional designs, product range expansion and determination of the level of skill of the weavers. At the same time, it also involves sharing of traditional knowledge and modern design understandings between the weavers and the designer.
