This project is a hybrid home automation concept that acts as a retrofit mechanical actuator that fits onto an existing switch. Accessible via Bluetooth, this product employs both digital and analogous controls to toggle the switch. It acts as an entry level home automation product that would allow new and unsure users to try out and experience automation firsthand. The product is non-intrusive in terms of installation and reasonably cheap. The device is intended to target unconvinced homeowners and take them closer to full-scale home automation.
