This project seeks to cater to the nascent but potentially blooming luxury home decor market of India by looking into unconventional uses of stainless steel beyond tableware to promote more domestic consumption. It looks at the theory of Biophilia; human tendency to have a positive inclination towards other life forms such as plants and animals. It attempts to translate the intangible aspects of Biophilia into tangible elements as a therapeutic decor range. It challengingly incorporates the essence of the natural animal forms with a highly industrial material, in order to achieve harmony between two contrasting elements.
