Designing an environment that engages and stimulates employees through the five senses leads to more productive work. Studies have shown that designs that respond to a greater number of senses are more successful than those that only engage one or two. The link between engaging senses and workplace productivity is being explored yet engagement alone is of no value if the employees do not fulfill the purpose of the space or them being hired. Hence, designing for purpose by skillfully engaging and stimulating the senses has been the focus of this project.
