This project examines one ward (ward no.7) in Bangalore, a city that generates 6,233 tonnes of waste per day and carries out a reconnaissance study to understand the root cause of failure of waste segregation system; focusing on behavioral change and the citizen’s role, empowering the socially ostracized waste collectors and suggests providing the necessary infrastructure facilities.
