Synopsis

Cloth is seldom used as a currency and a substance of livelihood. While many remote areas of smaller towns and districts have lived without money in their pockets due to capitalism, an NGO has reignited the idea of using cloth as a barter chip to enhance the livelihoods of the people they (the NGO) were negotiating with. Cloth, in the hands of the organisation, transformed into sanitation, roads, wells and many more such things. The idea was to lift the people up from begging for charity into become self-sufficient. This film considers the changes brought about by this NGO and tries to understand their extent of success in standing by their beliefs.
