As autonomous car technology makes a rapid progress, makers of the cars face difficult questions regarding safety measures before they move people on highways and city streets. This project attempts to redefine the safety of autonomous mobility from the human psychological perspective. It aims to propose a solution for the safety of occupants based on a system or a product or both. The project went through understanding and analysing the past, present and emerging mobility scenarios and predicting the possible near future mobility solution. The end output resulted in the design of an autonomous car, considering the safety aspect through its overall architecture, form, surface and 3D printed shock-absorbing material.
