The idea of camera existed even in the days of Aristotle. Photographs, since then, have been used as a tool of documentation. These documentations over a period of time started serving as archive materials, which presented the viewer with the facts and much more meaningful with the addition of relevant context. This increase in interest towards photographic archival material has opened doors for new opportunities. People have started looking into archives anthropologically, environmentally and personally. This project is one such opportunity which chooses to look at the National Institute of Design through its archives and depicts the evolution of the institution through the course of time.
