The aim of this project was to design a brand identity and expressions for a space for passionate creators and specialists determined to bring innovative ideas to fruition through hands-on and rigorous making, and a hub where ground-breaking ideas can be pursued together by interdisciplinary teams. The chosen visual identity expressed the space being a pulsating, ‘always on’ hub of activity, and a place of transformation and creation. The brand colours adapted to both playful and serious scenarios, and the typeface was a geometric Open Source sans serif named Poppins. The identity system was demonstrated through a wide variety of brand expressions, including some in motion.
