The project took into account development of print designs for home furnishings inspired from traditional Indian crafts and to generate a sensitised awareness towards the skilled craft of dabu printing. Drawing inspiration for the first collection from the terracotta arts of Molela, it comprised of bedding sets and table linens in the shades of alizarine, greys and indigo. Tree of Life in the second collection elucidated elements of Sanjhi paper art extracting hues from shyahi, beggar, patang, nashpal and indigo. Re-fabricating leftover katrans by means of kantha, applique techniques and exploring resist dye method to signify characteristics of water culminated in the design of the final two collections.
