A bear cub on the cusp of adulthood finds himself in a zoo. Torn from his familiar haunts in the woods and separated from his mother, the bear is now caged forever. Listless and dull, the bear whiles away his days within the confines of steel bars. His bored existence comes to an abrupt halt one day when Providence proffers him a chance for escape. Does he find his way back home? The film is intended to be construed as a perspective other than ours and aims to shed light on the topic of human encroachment. It provokes the audience to reflect on the price we don’t pay for our comfort. To justify the theme, the film employs a fairly experimental form of narration juxtaposing two time periods – before and after human encroachment.
