Human activity has shaped natural elements and forces since the advent of man on earth. We have been altering the environment constantly according to our needs and desires. A major portion of the areas around the world often regarded as wild, or natural landscapes are actually the product of human activity over centuries. This project delivers a photobook illustrating different approaches of serious human intervention and encroachment in nature. Each photo narrates its own journey and observes how people inhabiting a particular space interact with the land and how they change the landscape by their presence. The project mirrors this harsh truth through portraits and a series of collages depicting the surreal, chemically composed landscapes.
