Traditional methods of communication within organisations, like emails, are slow, asynchronous and cumbersome and fail to work where situations require quicker interaction and faster turnaround times. Enterprise chat comes as a solution for organisations and can considerably improve productivity of its workers. The aim of the project was to redesign the identity of the existing enterprise chat to be more in line with the direction it is heading into, and redesigning the android app by incorporating the solutions emerging from research insights. Based on key research findings, newer features in context with aesthetics viz. icons, typography and colours; and functionality viz. improved user interface and interaction features were integrated withing the existing information architecture.
