The first half of the research project was purely based on a new stone setting, viz. sheet setting. The process involved intensive sketches understanding the setting in all possible dimensions. The setting played a very important role in the main design element as a major portion of gold dominated the stone. Hence the design directions included exploring hoops, pendants, drop earrings and rings using the same setting. The second half of the project was to design gold temple jewellery for the modern bride. The collection was inspired by three temples in India namely Hampi in Karnataka, temples in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha and the Hutheesing temple, Gujarat.
