The project called for designing a range of collections keeping in mind the brand identity of the client’s company. The first collection was inspired from vintage wardrobe and thus drew forms from pressed flowers and other botanical drawings. The colours and forms used were intended to evoke the sense of the eras gone by. The second collection involved upcycling of the Aasmani fabric pieces to develop well-composed patchwork yardages and later, garments from them. Another collection was based on Shibori explorations in indigo for developing surfaces for cushion covers. The last range involved explorations of stripes inspired by dhurries and also weft wise explorations of stripes.
