The initial intention of this entire project was to communicate the knowledge of our ancestors with today’s generation through design. If one needs to make any change, they have to start from the root, the basics. It struck me that I had to start by connecting with the children at the age where they can understand the knowledge better and learn the content which is original. Before connecting them with topics like Vrikshayurveda, we need to familiarize them with the plants, food, oils and some diy home remedies around them which is used daily like turmeric, sesame, pepper, honey lip scrub, massage oils, etc.
Home remedies is something that is found in every ‘Bharatiya Ghar’ and is known as ‘Ghar ke Nuskhe’. This familiarizes them with more home remedies and the ingredients used. If this game achieves this goal of learning by fun and interaction, then the student can further design multiple things for other topics as well. This is the first step towards the cosmos of knowledge the people have inherited.
