This graduation project gave me the opportunity to work in the domain of exhibition design, along with the experience design in the given space.
The project was to research, design and install exhibits for a given theme in the Third Space Mini. The project was sponsored by Dharohar, a not for profit organization based out of Udaipur. Third Space Mini is a space located in the shopping mall situated in the main city, which acts like a prototype for the upcoming project of Dharohar, which is the Third Space.
This project involved researching about the theme of 'sound and music', understanding the target audience, designing engaging exhibits based on the given theme, conducting workshops to build the exhibits with the help of volunteers and installing the exhibits in Third Space Mini to create a memorable experience for the visitors of the space.
The target audience of the space is children, young adults and young working professionals. The exhibits had to be designed in a way as to cater to this range of target audience. Since this project served as a prototype, the insights from this exhibition design will be used for effective execution of the bigger future project of the Third Space.
