This project was accomplished with a Delhi-based toy manufacturing company, Webby Toys. Webby Toys manufactures products locally, proudly aligning with the "Make in India" initiative, sharing Indian values and excellence with the world.
The Indian Market developed a different need for toys, primarily because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Parents sought toys to engage their children for an extended period or aid them educationally and intellectually. Detailed R&D and carefully analysed toy requirements according to the present-day needs of the kids were done to design the products. The focus was to create toys for toddlers, helping their intellectual development in the early years.
The company's primary choice of material is MDF; hence, the challenge was to make products easy to assemble, hassle-free, and robust enough to sustain any mishaps while playing, simultaneously making them attractive and vibrant. Other vital aspects, like safety considerations, costing, and prioritising play features according to budgets, were significant project learnings.
