Sysnopsis

"The Frown" is an animated short film that delves into an urban young adult's unwavering battle against a permanent frown etched onto her face. Despite her tireless pursuit of happiness, the frown remains an unyielding presence, plunging her into a journey of self-discovery. Determined to free herself from its grip, she embarks on a quest to explore various solutions. She experiments with contrasting approaches, oscillating between various activities that used to give her joy previously, and even delving into trending practices on social media. Yet, her efforts prove futile as the frown persists, intensifying her frustration. The film is an attempt to understand the nuances of emotions and the futile attempts to control or suppress them. Through the girl’s trials and tribulations the story tries to explore the struggles of the urban youth, their loneliness, their search for inner peace, and the importance of accepting one's true self. The film explores her journey of finding a way to reclaim her joy and rid herself of the the frown.
