This project for Titan Company Ltd. involved designing a multifunctional hybrid watch that caters to the future of the watch industry. Extensive research was conducted, studying the evolution of watches, market trends, and user needs. This also included interviews with watch users and understanding Titan's manufacturing processes to define constraints.
The aim was to identify untapped use case scenarios and develop four design directions. Continuous iterations refined these directions, considering factors like colour, material, finish, and form language for 21st-century users.
Primary ideation created feature sets based on user personas, with detailed ideation incorporating hardware possibilities. Form ideation and 3D modeling refined the watch's construction.
The project aimed to position Titan as a market leader by introducing a versatile hybrid watch. The aim was to seamlessly integrates analog and smartwatch technologies, offering users an innovative and enhanced watch experience. Collaboration with Titan included design mentorship, feedback sessions and multiple design reviews.
Deliverables included comprehensive design documentation, ideation concepts, and 3D models and renders showcasing the watch's features and its potential to revolutionize the industry.
