Sysnopsis

I have always been captivated by custom-made and tailored bridal dresses, and it has been my long-standing desire to witness the inner workings of the bridal wear industry. This Graduation Project opportunity marked my first experience working within a bridal wear setting. Throughout this period, I had the privilege of engaging in work, comprehending the organization's current design processes, and enhancing my skills. I was also able to apply my newfound knowledge and understanding.

Through this project, I acquired insights into the limitations of the industry, market dynamics, and the preferences of the clientele. The primary goal was to gain a comprehensive understanding of the craftsmanship, operational aspects of the market, brand strategies, design thinking, and the manufacturing process.

The project entailed developing a collection for the upcoming SS/22 season, specifically focusing on occasional wear apparel. This collection aimed to explore digital printing, embroideries, and laser work techniques. It commenced by comprehending how the brand aligns with the consumer lifestyle, followed by an analysis of the current market landscape and consumer preferences. The creative inspiration was fueled by studying fashion knowledge derived from runway trends, brand analysis, and fashion forecasts. Drawing upon this wealth of information, a design strategy was formulated, and these ideas were merged to create the concept for the upcoming season. Once the conceptualization and ideation phase were completed, various prints and laser cut designs were brought to life. The final collection materialized through the implementation of diverse techniques on fabric and their incorporation into the garments.
