The aim of the project is to do an in-depth research of patients’ behavioural trends, finding out the suitable areas of enhancement in the DocOn ecosystem to drive up the their engagement, design strategies to improve customer experience enhancing the value perception of the app in line with their existing value preposition, leading to design new features (UI/UX) if need, fill in the gaps of the existing system and update developed features as suitable.
I started with focusing on DocOn’s core intent “enable a superior Doctor-Patient interaction” and understanding the users, their needs, behaviours, thoughts, emotions and feelings, actions, pressures, dilemmas, uncertainties & complexities, studying practice management offline & online. Audit starting with: what is DocOn, all about? Its users, elements, products, user journey, processes & channels.
During the research, it came out that a platform where a patient could seamlessly connect with their doctors, and see their stored medical records, update and share those are extremely crucial for their well being. My target users where people who wish to seek online healthcare facility for eg. Patients with chronic illness, People who go for regular follow ups or routine checkups, Working force - parents, youth, etc. who don't have time to go to hospital or clinic, People who wish to monitor the health
reports of their family members or Kids, elderly etc.I decided to pivot my user base to diabetic patients as those were in dire need for this which led to this project "e-Health Monitoring and Tele consultation Service for diabetic patients".
Major health requirements for them where we could intervene digitally during covid times were timely checkups, schedule doctor appointments, video calls/audio calls/chat with doctor, health instructions from doctor or nutritionist and maintenance of sugar & BP reports and share those with their doctor who could monitor those.
