The project is an interdisciplinary action research project to understand the role of tactile interactions through clay for mental health well-being. A team of Ceramist, Designer, and Psychologist worked together using mixed method research to develop two workshops on clay art therapy with the aim to (i) improve attention, concentration, problem solving abilities, information and reduction of restlessness and (ii) study the effects of clay work with kids diagnosed with ADHD and Down Syndrome. The project resulted in developing a framework for developing workshops for neuro-typical and neuro-atypical subject requirements in conjugation with different socio-economic contexts and environments.
