The Jumbo Problem - Non-anthropocentric design research to address elephant-train collisions
World Wildlife Fund (WWF)-INDIA
Guide Mr. Praveen Nahar
This project is a case of practicing a non-anthropocentric approach to design for a problem created by the anthropocentric development of a country who cannot afford to neglect the presence of other beings that share the land. The resulting outcome is a set of opportunity areas which could address bits of this situation and help us move towards a more eco-centric or non-anthropocentric world. It is an attempt to use design tools and processes to aid the existing efforts in wildlife conservation; addressing the problem of Elephant-Train collisions.
