The project is set amidst a village in North-East India, taking inspiration from community-based conservation practices of the Idu Mishmi tribe which protects the vulnerable specie of Eastern Hoolock Gibbons through deep rooted folk lore and mythologies. It attempts to spark a conversation about changing relationship between animals and humans through the vehicle of a child’s inquisitiveness: the story of Enjo accidentally spotting a Hoolock Gibbon in a cluster of trees, and the interaction which ensues despite the warnings by grandma Dilbili.
