Ammaji Ki Potli is an Adventure Comedy which follows the adventures and misadventures of Banku, a quick-witted 8-year old, and his crazy old Ammaji in a mysterious bag of bizzare stories. It is developed as a concept pitch for an original animated TV series for a target audience of 6-12 years. The concept took inspiration from 'Thakumar Jhuli', a collection of folk tales from Bengal, written by Dakshinaranjan Mitra Majumder in 1907. The ideation, creation and development of the concept was emerged through a six-month process while working with the Media Networks department of Disney, India.
