The aim of the project was to explore the role of communication in Healthcare industry and exploring the challenges of the sector and digital solutions to mitigate those challenges. The study started with understanding the domain of healthcare industry and gaining perspectives on the importance of communication in healthcare. An approach of following a journey of a disease was chosen to understand the role of various stakeholders and challenges they face at different stages. Ischemic Heart Diseases (Cardiovascular diseases) was chosen as an example to conduct further study. This helped in identification of various categories of communication challenges that a healthcare facility may face. Through critical elimination, communication challenges within ICU was chosen to solve the communication issues between Nurses and Doctors. Further, Scenario building helped in communicating the User goals and User needs helping in building personas.
